Since 2015, her practice is limited to the treatment of patients with snoring and sleep apnea. Due to her dedication to the study of dental sleep medicine, she is able to provide patients with a CPAP alternative that can be worn in their mouth. Currently there are 550 dentists nationwide and internationally who have earned this certification. She also holds an Advanced TAP-PAP certification. Her unique blend of orthodontic correction and sleep apnea options allows the patient to make an educated decision on what is best for their individual needs.

Dr. Kimberly Klein received her DDS degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2008. As a California native she moved back to Los Angeles to pursue the prestigious General Practice Residency at UCLA in Hospital Dentistry. She was subsequently hired on as part time faculty to teach residents the intricacies of working in the operating room providing comprehensive care to special needs patients. She worked closely with the cardiac teams at both UCLA and Kaiser Permanente to provide dental clearance prior to open heart surgery.
For 13 years Dr. Klein focused on educating residents and dental students at both UCLA and USC in the art of treating special needs patients in addition to working in private practice. In 2021 Dr. Klein and her husband decided to move their young family to the South Hills of Pittsburgh where her husband grew up. She is loving life in Pittsburgh and grateful to have met Dr. Chenet at a continuing education course.
For Dr. Klein it has always been at the intersection of medicine and dentistry where she found her true calling. When she discovered through continuing education the impact a dentist can make in treating sleep apnea she knew that was where she wanted to shift the focus of her dental career.
Dr. Klein has received Qualified Dentist Designation through the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine’s Mastery program and is in the process of pursuing board certification in Dental Sleep Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the American Dental Association.
